Tovah Feldshuh Says Political Differences Won't Impact Work on Netflix Series

Resumen

Actress Tovah Feldshuh clarified on social media that her differing views with co-star Adam Brody over the Israel-Palestine issue will not affect their collaboration on the Netflix show "Nobody Wants This."

Actress Tovah Feldshuh used the social platform Threads on Friday, Oct. 30, to address rumors of friction on the set of Netflix’s series "Nobody Wants This." She wrote that while she and co-star Adam Brody hold "profound differences of opinion" on the Israel-Palestine conflict, those disagreements are not creating tension on the production and will not be brought to work.

"Tensions are NOT RISING. Profound differences of opinion are. Please do not conflate the two — And none of it will be brought to the set," Feldshuh posted.

She added that she enjoys filming the series and hopes it will be renewed for a fourth season.

The disagreement stems from Brody’s comments in a recent GQ interview, where he expressed support for a "Free Palestine" stance and described Israel’s actions in Gaza as "genocide." Feldshuh publicly disagreed with his remarks.

In the show, Brody plays Noah Roklov, a recently single rabbi, while Feldshuh appears as his mother, Bina Roklov. The series, a romantic comedy that follows a podcast-hosting agnostic woman and her relationships, debuted its first season in September 2024 and released a third season in October 2026.
