Reality TV star Melissa Rycroft Strickland arrested again on suspicion of DWI in Texas

Melissa Rycroft Strickland, known for her appearances on "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars," was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 1, in Southlake, Texas, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Police say she allegedly collided with an ambulance that was stopped at a stop sign and then left the scene. No injuries were reported, and officers located the 43-year-old shortly afterward.

She faces charges of second-offense DWI, an accident causing more than $200 in damage, and driving with an invalid license. As of Monday morning, she was listed in custody on a $9,000 bond, according to Tarrant County inmate records.

Rycroft Strickland’s first DWI arrest occurred in September 2025, also by Southlake police. She is married to insurance broker Tye Strickland.
