Boy accused of assaulting 6-year-old leads father to bloodied classroom in Panchkula school

Resumen

An eight-year-old boy allegedly attacked a six-year-old girl at a government school in Panchkula, Haryana, and later guided her father to the classroom where she was found unconscious.

An eight-year-old boy is accused of violently assaulting a six-year-old girl inside a government school in Sector 20, Panchkula, Haryana, on October 28. The incident reportedly occurred between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., and a video showing the alleged attack circulated on social media, though its authenticity could not be independently verified.

According to the girl's uncle, the boy lured the child into an empty classroom by claiming her father was arriving at the school. The uncle said the girl entered the classroom around 3:15 p.m., and the assault took place later, between 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. He alleged the boy pulled her hair, repeatedly struck her head against a desk, kicked her, and hit her with an object resembling a brick, as well as an aluminium dustbin.

When the child's auto-rickshaw driver arrived after school and could not locate her, he informed her father, who rushed to the school. The boy then approached the father, saying, "Uncle, I will take you upstairs. She is there," and led him to the classroom where the girl was found unconscious in a pool of blood.

The Haryana Education Department has suspended two Junior Basic Training teachers immediately, and an FIR has been filed against the school management for alleged negligence. Preliminary police findings point to lapses in security arrangements and student supervision.
