Fans have expressed their excitement, with one sharing their experience of a mass scene that drew loud cheers in theaters. Trade analyst Sumit Kadel remarked on the film's success, highlighting Rajinikanth's enduring appeal at the age of 76. Despite limited promotional efforts, Jailer 2 has achieved significant milestones, including over ₹100 crore in Telugu states and ₹210 crore in Tamil Nadu alone.
