Heidi Klum Unveils Gruesome Severed Hand Costume for 2026 Halloween Party
Heidi Klum showcased her elaborate severed human hand costume at her annual Halloween party, drawing inspiration from her own hand. The costume, created over four months, features intricate details including long red nails and replicas of her engagement and wedding rings.
Heidi Klum made a striking appearance at her 2026 Halloween party in New York, donning a grotesque severed human hand costume. The supermodel, 53, shared a video on Instagram revealing her transformation, which included a close-up of her hand before morphing into the gory costume complete with dangling tendons and long red nails. Klum captioned the clip, "TALK TO THE HAND ✋ #HeidiHalloween 2026 HERE WE GO."
In an interview, Klum explained that the idea for the costume came while she was looking at her own hand, contemplating how she could creatively incorporate it into her look. "I was looking at my fingers, and I was like fingers could actually be legs," she said. The costume was designed by Mike Marino, who initially had reservations about the concept due to its complexity. It took four months to create after a year of brainstorming.
Klum arrived at the event accompanied by helpers in blood-stained hazmat suits. Reflecting on her past costumes, she noted, "I still have all of my costumes... they all get stored and they are all in a box in storage." Klum, who has been hosting Halloween parties since 2000, teased her costume ideas on social media leading up to the event, including hints of a "very bloody" look that would pair well with red wine. Last year, she attended the party as Medusa, showcasing her commitment to elaborate and creative Halloween attire.
