The actress denied rumors of on-set conflict, distinguishing personal opinions from rising tensions, while co-star Adam Brody expressed his views on the Middle East.

Tovah Feldshuh, 77, posted on Threads on Friday, Oct. 30, that there is no squabbling among the cast of Netflix’s rom-com series "Nobody Wants This" regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She said, "Tensions are NOT RISING. Profound differences of opinion are. Please do not conflate the two — And none of it will be brought to the set." Feldshuh added that she enjoys filming the show and hopes it will be renewed for a fourth season.

The comments came after Adam Brody, who plays Rabbi Noah Roklov, discussed his perspective on the Middle East in a GQ interview, stating he believes the situation is approaching a breaking point and expressing hope that a future administration could improve policies.

Feldshuh, who portrays Brody’s mother Bina, disagreed with his characterization of the conflict, telling The Post that accusing the Jewish people of genocide is inaccurate. She emphasized her commitment to kindness on set.

Rabbi Steve Leder, a technical adviser on the series’ first season, also criticized Brody’s remarks, calling him an "ignorant Jew." The series, loosely based on creator Erin Foster’s relationship, follows Rabbi Roklov’s romance with a non-Jewish podcaster played by Kristen Bell. Season three was released recently.
