Celebrity Couples Showcase Iconic Halloween Costumes Over the Years

Summary

From Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz’s mythic Medusa look to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s Alice in Wonderland ensemble, celebrities have repeatedly turned Halloween into a showcase of elaborate paired costumes.

Celebrity couples have turned Halloween into a runway of elaborate paired costumes, often referencing pop culture icons and classic films. At Heidi Klum’s 2025 Halloween party, the model appeared as Medusa in a full green prosthetic bodysuit with a moving snake crown, while her husband Tom Kaulitz dressed as a stone-turned warrior.

"I love for people to see this and think whatever they want to think for the first time when I go on the red carpet," Klum told Fox News Digital in 2024.

The duo previously arrived in 2024 as variations of the 1980s film character E.T., with Kaulitz as the classic alien and Klum as the disguised version wearing a black hat, blonde wig and red shawl.

In 2024, singer Selena Gomez and producer Benny Blanco attended a Halloween event as Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter, with Gomez in a blue dress, white socks and a blonde wig, and Blanco in a multicolored outfit topped by a large hat and orange wig. Gomez captioned the Instagram post, "Curiouser and curiouser.."

Paris Hilton and husband Carter Reum appeared at the 2023 Casamigos Halloween Party in a futuristic blue flight-attendant uniform with metallic boots, while Reum wore an airline pilot outfit.

Kourtney Kardashian and drummer Travis Barker dressed as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz for a 2023 Halloween photo, with Barker sporting white face makeup, dark eye circles, green hair and a burgundy suit, and Kardashian in a red lace dress with an updo.

Other notable pairings include Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber as David Bowie and Debbie Harry in 2018, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin as Lucy and Ricky Ricardo from "I Love Lucy," and Sarah Michelle Gellar with Freddie Prinze Jr. as Doc Brown and Marty McFly in 2019. The couples have also recreated scenes from "Dirty Dancing" and performed as characters from "Grease," "I Dream of Jeannie," and other classics at various celebrity Halloween gatherings.
