Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley file for uncontested divorce in New York

Summary

Musician Jack Antonoff and actress Margaret Qualley have filed for an uncontested joint divorce in Kings County Supreme Court, ending a marriage that began in 2023.

Jack Antonoff, frontman of Bleachers, and actress Margaret Qualley filed paperwork for an uncontested joint divorce on Friday in Kings County Supreme Court in New York. The filing follows the couple's separation earlier this summer. Representatives for both parties did not respond to requests for comment.

Qualley, 32, and Antonoff, 42, were married in August 2023 after a year-long engagement. Their wedding was attended by several high-profile friends, including Lana Del Rey, Zoë Kravitz, Channing Tatum and Taylor Swift.

The split was first reported in July after Qualley removed several photos of Antonoff from her Instagram, including images promoting his song “dirty wedding dress.” A source close to the pair told People that, despite ending their romantic relationship, they intend to remain lifelong friends.

Antonoff, who is currently on the Bleachers Forever tour, recently performed in West Hollywood and is set to begin the European leg of the tour in Italy. In a recent interview with the Guardian, he reflected on his music inspired by the relationship, saying, "It’s beautiful. I don’t rewrite the past… I would rather live through something publicly than even escape it privately."
