Six-Year-Old Critically Injured After Attack by Fellow Student at Haryana School

摘要

A six-year-old girl was left in critical condition after a third-grade student allegedly assaulted her with a stone and a flower pot at a government school in Panchkula, Haryana.

A six-year-old girl is in critical condition after being attacked by a third-grade student inside a government school in Panchkula, Haryana. According to the family, the boy lured the girl to the first floor by claiming her father had called for her, then struck her with a stone and a flower pot. The girl was reportedly dragged a considerable distance before being left unconscious on the floor of a classroom.

The family questioned the school's security, noting that CCTV cameras monitored from the principal's office did not capture the incident. A video circulating on social media appears to show the boy kicking the girl before walking away, though the outlet could not independently verify the footage.

The girl's uncle said the same student later led family members to the location where she was lying injured. > "This incident serves as a lesson for all schools. It’s crucial, because if such incidents occur, despite having so many schools and so many teachers, then no one will want to send their children to school. Whether it’s a private school or a government school, the staff are paid substantial salaries, yet they fail to do their jobs properly," he told ANI.

The case follows a separate incident in Delhi where a 17-year-old student was stabbed to death outside a government school after a dispute over school uniform shoes, prompting the arrest of five suspects, including three juveniles.
