Actress Margaret Qualley and Musician Jack Antonoff File for Divorce After Three Years of Marriage
Court documents show that Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have filed for divorce, ending a marriage that began in August 2023.
Court records obtained by the Associated Press indicate that actress Margaret Qualley and musician Jack Antonoff filed for divorce on Friday, ending a marriage that lasted three years. The couple reportedly separated in July, and a source told People magazine that the decision was mutual, adding that they share a deep affinity and intend to remain lifelong friends.
Qualley's representatives declined to comment to The Hollywood Reporter. A spokesperson for the actress previously refuted press speculation, stating, "The narratives running in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue. There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship."
Antonoff, who leads the band Bleachers, discussed performing songs inspired by the relationship in an interview with The Guardian. He said he was initially worried about including the material in his set but later found the experience "really beautiful." He explained, "Songs which I wrote recently, I obviously was really worried about this specific thing... I sat long and hard with it and thought, 'If I change the setlist …' and in my gut there was a unanimous jury that said, 'No, this is the deal. The deal I’ve made with my audience is that I’m going to tell you honestly how I feel and I’m going to risk at any moment having to stand behind it for fucking ever.'"
