A24's documentary "You Can See Everything" and Warner Bros.' "Clayface" are competing for the top spot in the domestic box office, each projected to earn over $10 million during the Halloween weekend.

Domestic box office earnings for the Halloween weekend are closely contested, with A24's documentary You Can See Everything and Warner Bros./DC's Clayface both projected to bring in more than $10 million. You Can See Everything is slated to earn about $3.2 million on Friday, contributing to a third-weekend total of $10 million-$11 million, while Clayface is expected to collect $3.1 million on Friday and exceed $10 million in its second weekend.

If the forecasts hold, the documentary, co-directed by Lance Oppenheim and featuring Nathan Fielder, could reach a cumulative domestic gross of $63.7 million by Sunday. Clayface, directed by James Watkins, would finish its opening week with roughly $43.7 million.

Other releases include Laika’s Wildwood, which posted a second-Friday take of $2.1 million and a second-weekend total of $6.8 million, and Black Bear’s Wicker, a R-rated comedy expected to add $3.5 million in its second weekend. Paramount/Legendary’s Street Fighter is in its third weekend, earning $3.3 million.

"You Can See Everything" is leading the weekend box office, driven in part by strong social-media buzz and Halloween-themed costumes featuring Elizabeth Holmes and Nathan Fielder, analysts said.

The documentary, which runs three hours, has already surpassed several past U.S. documentaries in earnings, though it trails Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 in total gross. Industry observers note that while horror titles typically dominate Halloween weekends, the current data suggest an unusual performance pattern.

Additional titles opening this weekend include the indie slasher Christmas at the Kringles and the action film The Mongoose, but they are expected to generate modest revenues compared with the top-grossing films.
