Skydance Announces New TV and Streaming Leadership Structure

Ամփոփում

Skydance Media outlined a reorganization that separates TV and direct-to-consumer responsibilities, appointing new regional and global leaders while acknowledging the departure of several senior executives.

Skydance Media said it is restructuring its television and direct-to-consumer (DTC) operations to create clearer lines between the two businesses. The company will assign some leaders to focus exclusively on TV, others on DTC, and many to oversee both areas, aiming to leverage local expertise and global scale.

In the new arrangement, four regional heads will report directly to CEO John B. (JB) and will manage distribution, advertising sales, commercial development and programming for both networks and streaming in their markets. They will coordinate with global functional teams and with senior executives Jay Askanasi (Advertising), Ray Hopkins (Distribution) and David Berson (Sports).

The memo also noted personnel changes: Leah Hooper, regional streaming lead for Europe, will return from maternity leave in January; Ronald Goes will move to Skydance TV Studios; and Efrain Miron will leave the DTC organization to pursue other opportunities within the company.

Several longtime executives, including Dan Barnes, Michael Bishara, Jamie Cooke, Domenic DiMeglio, Marco Nobili, Pank Patel and Juan Sola, are departing after contributing to the growth of Skydance’s TV and DTC businesses. The company thanked them for their service and wished them success in future endeavors.

JB asked staff to be patient as the transition proceeds and encouraged employees to direct any urgent questions to their managers or HR representatives.
