Decomposed Body Found in Tesla Registered to Singer d4vd Identified as Missing Teen

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the decomposed body found inside an impounded Tesla as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing since April 2024. The vehicle is registered to singer-songwriter d4vd, born David Anthony Burke. Authorities have not implicated Burke in Rivas's death, and the cause remains undetermined. A representative for d4vd stated that he is cooperating with the investigation. Following the discovery, the remaining dates of d4vd's U.S. tour and several European performances have been canceled or removed from ticketing websites. The Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division is leading the ongoing investigation.
