Savannah Chrisley Married Jason Galanis in Secret Cayman Islands Ceremony

Résumé

Reality star Savannah Chrisley and businessman Jason Galanis were married in the Cayman Islands in July, months before publicly announcing their engagement and pregnancy.

Savannah Chrisley, 29, and Jason Galanis, 56, were married on July 14 at Cayman Islands Baptist Church, according to marriage records obtained by People. The couple kept the ceremony private and did not disclose their marital status when Chrisley later announced her pregnancy and engagement in an Instagram video, referring to Galanis only as “J.”

Galanis, who was convicted in 2020 of fraud schemes that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors of tens of millions of dollars, was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison and ordered to forfeit about $80 million. President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025, removing both the remaining prison term and the financial penalties.

"This girl’s in for a rocky ride," said Derek Galanis, the brother of Jason Galanis, describing the relationship as the businessman’s “biggest con yet.”

Chrisley defended the age difference on her podcast, stating she prefers “20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone” over a longer but less fulfilling partnership. She also emphasized that her unborn child should not be defined by any controversy surrounding her partner’s past.

Galanis was previously married to Monet Berger for 20 years; the marriage ended in 2017 after Berger alleged tax fraud and forgery by Galanis. This is Chrisley’s first marriage and Galanis’s second.
