Savannah Chrisley Announces Engagement and Pregnancy as Parents Face $1.57 Million Tax Lien

Résumé

Reality star Savannah Chrisley revealed her engagement and pregnancy, while her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, have a federal tax lien of $1.57 million despite receiving a presidential pardon.

Savannah Chrisley shared news of her engagement and pregnancy on Instagram, thanking supporters and describing her fiancé, Jason Galanus, as her protector and loyal partner. The couple became engaged during a December 2025 vacation in the Cayman Islands, five months after meeting, and plan to marry in May 2027.

The engagement ring, described as featuring a large oval-cut diamond flanked by two half-moon stones set in rose gold, is estimated by Rare Carat founder Ajay Anand to contain a 15-to-18-carat central diamond and two approximately two-carat side stones, with a potential value of over $1.5 million.

Separately, records obtained by Page Six show that the Internal Revenue Service filed a $1,571,452 federal tax lien against Todd and Julie Chrisley in Davidson County, Tennessee, on August 19, 2026. The lien covers unpaid tax assessments of $142,410.72 for 2021 and $1,429,041.89 for 2022.

The lien follows a presidential pardon issued by Donald Trump in May 2025, which cleared the couple’s criminal convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion but did not eliminate their outstanding tax liabilities.
