A source told the Daily Mail that Tom Brady is trying to stay out of the dispute between models Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls, which has been discussed on social media.

Tom Brady is reportedly trying to avoid becoming part of the disagreement between models Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls, according to a source cited by the Daily Mail on Thursday, Oct. 29. The source said Brady feels he is being drawn into a conflict that does not involve him and that the tension between the two women is their own business.

The feud reportedly began after Smalls posted comments on Instagram that were critical of Swanepoel, including calling her a “backstabber,” and the two models subsequently unfollowed each other. The comments came amid speculation about a rumored romance between Swanepoel, 38, and the former New England Patriots quarterback, 49.

A separate source told Us Weekly that Swanepoel and Brady have been seeing each other intermittently since 2023, following Brady’s 2022 divorce. The source described the relationship as casual and said the two remained in contact after it ended.

Swanepoel’s representative said the model is focusing on raising her two sons and that she respects her long-standing friendship with Smalls. Brady’s representative emphasized that he is concentrating on his broadcasting career and his children.

"Tom wants absolutely no part of the feud between Candice and Joan, and he feels like he's getting caught in the crossfire of a situation that really has nothing to do with him," the source said.

"Tom would rather keep his distance, let Candice and Joan sort out whatever issues they have between themselves, and refuse to give the situation more oxygen than it deserves," the source added.
