Skydance TV Announces New Executive Team Across Studios, Sports, Entertainment and News

Skydance TV's co-chair and chief content officer announced a reorganization of the division's senior leadership. The new team will report directly to him and is tasked with advancing the company's strategy across its varied portfolio.

Channing Dungey will retain oversight of the Warner Bros. Television Group, including its scripted, unscripted and animation studios, as well as the combined Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery cable lineup of more than 50 brands. David Stapf will continue to lead CBS Studios, which produces series such as NCIS and its spin-off NCIS: New York, along with other scripted and streaming titles. Matt Thunell will head Paramount Television Studios, responsible for premium series and franchises on Paramount+ and CBS.

David Berson was named head of Skydance’s Global Sports Group, supervising live-sports assets that include CBS Sports, TNT Sports and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, with rights spanning the NFL, UEFA Champions League, NHL, MLB, March Madness, PGA Tour, The Masters, WNBA, NASCAR and college football.

Amy Reisenbach will lead CBS Entertainment, which manages the network's primetime schedule and recent hits such as the drama Cupertino. Tom Cibrowski will continue to oversee CBS News operations across broadcast, streaming and digital platforms, focusing on morning and evening news programming.

Bryon Rubin was appointed chief operating officer, overseeing strategic and operational matters for the division and expanding his responsibilities to include CBS Television Stations. Laurel Weir will direct research and programming insights, while also supervising content strategy and acquisitions for Paramount cable networks. Mike Benson will head marketing for the portfolio, and Chris Ender will manage communications and serve as the spokesperson for Skydrive TV.

The announcement noted that additional details on the structure will be shared as the integration progresses.
