Gisele Bündchen's circle says Candice Swanepoel's relationship with Tom Brady is not a betrayal

Tom Brady and supermodel Candice Swanepoel have been reported to be dating quietly since June, meeting at low-key locations near Indian Creek in Miami, according to a media outlet. The relationship has been described as progressing slowly after several months of seeing each other.

The couple's connection comes four years after Brady's divorce from former wife Gisele Bündchen, which was finalized in 2022. Bündchen, who remarried jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in 2025, shares two children with Brady. Swanepoel was previously engaged to Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli and has two sons.

"Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Gisele's inner circle doesn't see Candice's romance with Tom as a betrayal, despite social media users accusing the supermodel of breaking girl code by getting involved with Gisele's ex," the report said.

"We're told Gisele and Candice have always been friendly and supportive of one another, and naturally crossed paths over the years through their modeling careers, but their relationship never developed into a close friendship," the source added.

The report notes that the two women have not been observed together in recent years, suggesting that claims of a close friendship may be overstated. Both Bündchen and Swanepoel have long-standing ties to Victoria's Secret, which may have contributed to public speculation about their relationship.
