Tyler Cameron and Jackson Olson eliminated in Dancing With the Stars double elimination

Resumen

Tyler Cameron and Jackson Olson, along with their professional partners, were eliminated during the "Horror Movie Night" episode of Dancing With the Stars, leaving eight couples to continue competing for the Mirrorball Trophy.

Tyler Cameron and Jackson Olson were the two contestants voted off during the "Horror Movie Night" double elimination on Dancing With the Stars. Their departures, alongside professional partners Sharna Burgess and Emma Slater, reduce the field to eight couples still in contention for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

The elimination followed last week’s "Dedication Night," in which all ten remaining couples were safe and their scores carried over. Combined scores from both weeks determined the two lowest-scoring pairs, resulting in Cameron’s and Olson’s exit.

Other notable performances included Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa’s Argentine tango, which earned a 26/40 from the judges, and Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson’s contemporary routine that received the season’s first perfect 40/40, bringing their two-night total to 76/80.

"Never seen anything quite like it," guest judge Shirley Ballas said of Shum and Johnson’s routine.

"Perfection," Bruno Tonioli added.

Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik received a 28/40 for their paso doble, while Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy earned a 37/40 for an Argentine tango despite a brief wardrobe mishap. Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach, and Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov also posted scores ranging from 35/40 to 37/40.

Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas closed the show with a contemporary piece that garnered a 32/40.

New episodes of Dancing With the Stars air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC and Disney+, with streaming on Hulu the following day.
