Samsung expands Android 17 rollout to dozens of Galaxy models

Resumen

Samsung has added a range of Galaxy A, M and F series phones to the One UI 9 (Android 17) update list, with regional variations possible.

Samsung announced that its One UI 9 software, built on Android 17, is now available for a broad set of Galaxy devices. The update, first released with the Galaxy S26 in September, has moved beyond flagship models to include many recent mid-range phones.

The latest additions feature several Galaxy A series models, such as the A35, A36, A37, A54, A55, A56, A57, A26, A27, A16 and A17, as well as devices from the M and F lines, including the M56, M54, F17 and F70. Samsung noted that some of these updates may be limited to certain regions, though most devices have received the upgrade globally.

"Android 17 is a major upgrade for Galaxy devices with a lot of features, so a successful rollout is key for the phones that a lot of users rely on," the company said.

Samsung indicated that the rollout is ongoing and that additional models, such as the Galaxy A25, are expected to receive the update in the future.
