Savannah Chrisley's fiancé identified as convicted fraudster Jason Galanyis, whose sentence was commuted by President Trump

Résumé

Reality star Savannah Chrisley is pregnant with her first child, and her fiancé has been identified as Jason Galanyis, a convicted fraudster whose prison sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump in 2025.

Savannah Chrisley, 29, announced that she is expecting her first child and that her fiancé is Jason Galanyis, 56, a man previously convicted of fraud. Galanyis was sentenced in September 2020 to more than 14 years in prison for schemes that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors of tens of millions of dollars, and was ordered to forfeit about $80 million and pay an equal amount in restitution. In March 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanyis' sentence, removing both the remaining prison time and the financial penalties.

Galanyis has also been linked to Hunter Biden and testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024 while still incarcerated. Savannah Chrisley's parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, received presidential pardons from Trump in May 2025 after their own convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion.

Chrisley revealed her pregnancy on Instagram, describing her partner as a "protector" and "fiercest fighter." In her "Unlocked" podcast she defended the age difference, stating she prefers a shorter, high-quality relationship over a longer, less fulfilling one.

"I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years,’" Chrisley said on the podcast.

The couple's relationship and the political connections surrounding Galanyis' clemency have drawn public attention, but details about how they met have not been disclosed.
