Meghan Markle to Appear as Guest Host on Junior MasterChef Australia

Resumen

The Duchess of Sussex will join Poh Ling Yeow as a special guest on the revived Junior MasterChef Australia, which returns to Network Ten next year.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will serve as a special guest on the upcoming season of Junior MasterChef Australia, the Network Ten version of the Banijay cooking competition. She will co-host the show with longtime judge Poh Ling Yeow when the series returns after a six-year hiatus.

"I had an incredible time with the whole team at MasterChef this past April, so when they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes," Markle said. "I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what they cook up."

Yeow added that the show's return would be met with excitement and that she enjoyed filming with Markle earlier in the year. She said she looks forward to meeting the junior contestants and expects "delicious surprises and a little mischief."

The production is being handled by Banijay Entertainment’s Endemol Shine Australia, with Banijay Rights handling international distribution. Markle previously hosted the Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, which concluded after two seasons in 2025 following the end of her and Prince Harry’s deal with the streaming platform.

The Duchess also issued a statement in response to recent allegations involving her father, Thomas Markle, expressing distress over the reports and extending thoughts to any affected children.
