Jay-Z announced as headliner for Apple Music Super Bowl LXI halftime show

Résumé

Apple Music confirmed that Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime performance at SoFi Stadium on Feb. 14, 2027.

Apple Music announced that rapper and Roc Nation founder Jay-Z will headline the halftime show for Super Bowl LXI, scheduled for Feb. 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The company shared the news on its X account, tagging the artist.

The NFL said the partnership with Roc Nation dates back to 2019, when the organization began producing the halftime show. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, "For several years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with Jay-Z and Roc Nation, and I’ve seen the extraordinary impact he has had on the Super Bowl Halftime Show. When we first reached an agreement with Roc Nation to produce the show, I had just one request: that Jay-Z take the stage himself one day, whenever the moment felt right to him. I couldn’t be more excited for fans around the world to experience the artistry, creativity and cultural impact he will bring to the Super Bowl stage."

Jay-Z, 56, previously performed two back-to-back concerts at SoFi Stadium in October as part of his "Jay-Z 30 Tour," which marked the 30th anniversary of his debut album "Reasonable Doubt." He has earned 25 Grammy Awards and was the first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. His wife, Beyoncé, previously headlined the halftime show in 2013 and performed again in 2016 as part of a multi-artist lineup.
