Eric Bauza, the Canadian voice actor who voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and numerous other characters, died at age 46, with his family describing the loss as sudden.

Canadian voice actor Eric Bauza, best known for providing the voices of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and other Looney Tunes characters, died at the age of 46. His family announced the death on Sunday night, calling it "sudden" and indicating that further details would be released later.

Bauza began his career as a production assistant and voice performer on the short-lived Fox Kids series The Ripping Friends. He later succeeded Billy West as the voice of Stimpy on SpikeTV’s Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" and went on to work on a range of animated series, including El Tigre, Hi-Hi Puffy AmiYumi and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Beyond Looney Tunes, Bauza voiced characters such as Marvin the Martian in The Looney Tunes Show, Zeke Stane in Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Amadeus Cho in Avengers Confidential, Ryan Choi in Justice League: Gods & Monsters, and Two-Face in Batman Ninja. Recent credits included Splinter in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, D.A. Sinclair in Invincible and Dishy in Date Everything.

In 2024 he contributed to the indie horror film Forgotten Island, the comedy Buddy and several roles in Coyote vs. Acme, where he voiced most of the male Looney Tunes cast. He also recorded a short featuring the Looney characters for a planned The Cat in the Hat project, though the status of that and other upcoming work remains unclear.
