Ric Flair Hospitalized After Fall, Cites Blood Clot Concerns

Resumen

The 77-year-old wrestling legend was treated at a Tampa hospital following a fall outside a restaurant and is recovering while managing a leg blood clot.

Ric Flair, the 77-year-old retired professional wrestler, spent Friday night in a Tampa hospital after he fell outside a Wagamama restaurant, sustaining cuts to his head and eye. In an Instagram post, Flair thanked the hospital staff and said he would respond to messages as he regains strength. He added that his focus is on healing and recovery and expressed confidence that he will be okay.

Flair had earlier cancelled a scheduled appearance at the Washington State Horror Con in Seattle, citing a blood clot in his leg that limits his travel to three to four hours. He warned that blood clots are "extremely serious and can be life-threatening" and noted that a procedure to strip the affected vein is planned.

His daughter, WWE wrestler Charlotte Flair, referenced the incident on social media, reassuring fans that her father will recover.
