Ric Flair Hospitalized After Fall in Tampa, Focuses on Recovery

Resumen

Retired wrestler Ric Flair was taken to Tampa General Hospital after a fall outside a restaurant and said he is concentrating on healing.

Ric Flair, 77, was admitted to Tampa General Hospital on Friday after slipping outside a Tampa restaurant. The former WWE performer thanked hospital staff for their care, saying he is focused on his healing and recovery.

"I appreciate you all and thank you all and thank you for everything you did for me! I am focused on my healing and recovery right now. I will be okay!" Flair had cancelled a planned appearance in Seattle earlier in the day because doctors diagnosed a blood clot in his leg, limiting his travel to three to four hours. He posted an Instagram message explaining the situation and noting that a procedure is scheduled to address the clot, which he hopes will allow future travel. His daughter, Charlotte Flair, posted an update on social media confirming her father's condition and reassuring fans. Earlier reports included photos of Flair being attended to by medical personnel and placed in an ambulance.
