Rockstar Announces Standard and Ultimate Editions of GTA 6 with Pricing and Content Details
Rockstar Games will release Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, offering a Standard Edition at $80 and an Ultimate Edition at $100, the latter including extra weapons, vehicles and customization options.
Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in two editions. The Standard Edition is priced at $80, while the Ultimate Edition costs $100 and can also be obtained by upgrading from the Standard version.
The Ultimate Edition adds a selection of additional weapons, cosmetics and cars, such as a 1995 Grotti Cheetah and exclusive firearms. It also provides access to new in-game storefronts for items like salons, tattoo parlors and weapon mods. > "Ultimate Edition bonuses are threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter," Rockstar said.
Both editions include preorder bonuses for purchases made before November 20, featuring retro-themed weapons, outfits and vehicles inspired by the 1980s Vice City setting, as well as one month of GTA+, Rockstar’s online membership service.
Consumers can choose the edition that matches their interest level. Players seeking the most comprehensive experience may find value in the Ultimate Edition, while those who prefer a lower-cost entry point can start with the Standard Edition and consider an upgrade later.
