Influencer known as Clavicular pleads not guilty to rape charge in Massachusetts

Résumé

Braden Peters, a 20-year-old social media figure who promotes male beauty enhancement, denied a rape allegation involving a 17-year-old girl during a court appearance in Orleans, Massachusetts.

Braden Peters, who streams under the name Clavicular and has a large Instagram following, entered a Massachusetts courthouse on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to a charge of raping a 17-year-old girl at his family home on Cape Cod in May 2025. The prosecutor alleges that Peters gave the teenager several shots of vodka, livestreamed the encounter and then sexually assaulted her while she was intoxicated. Peters’ legal team maintains that the sexual activity was consensual.

Peters was released on $10,000 bail, surrendered his passport and was ordered not to contact or post about the accuser. He arrived at the courthouse in a dark suit, walked a dog on a leash, and did not respond to reporters’ questions.

The case follows earlier legal issues for the influencer, including a dropped misdemeanor battery charge in Florida and a probation sentence after a no-contest plea to a firearms violation.

Authorities have provided contact information for organizations that offer support to survivors of sexual assault.
