Livestreamer Braden Peters Pleads Not Guilty to Rape Charge in Massachusetts

सारांश

Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, denied a rape allegation involving a 17-year-old girl and entered a not-guilty plea at an Orleans, Massachusetts arraignment.

Braden Peters, a 20-year-old social-media personality who streams content about male appearance under the name Clavicular, entered a not-guilty plea on Thursday to a charge of raping a 17-year-old girl at his family home in Chatham, Cape Cod. The alleged incident occurred in May 2025, when the girl visited the residence, was reportedly given alcohol, and subsequently claimed she was sexually assaulted.

Peters, who arrived at the Orleans courthouse in a dark suit accompanied by a dog, did not address reporters and maintained a neutral expression during the brief arraignment. He posted a $10,000 bail, surrendered his passport and agreed not to contact or post about the accuser.

Peters’ attorneys described a related civil lawsuit filed by the accuser in Florida as a “publicity grab.”

The accuser told police that she had been paid to appear in Peters’ livestreams and that he gave her multiple shots of vodka before livestreaming a kiss while she was intoxicated. She alleged that she woke up the next morning to find Peters raping her and also claimed she was injected with a fat-dissolving substance during a livestream without consent.

Peters has previously faced legal issues, including a dropped misdemeanor battery charge in Florida and a probation sentence after pleading no contest to a firearm-related offense.

The case proceeds pending further court proceedings.
