Sean "Diddy" Combs moved to general population at Pennsylvania federal prison
Sean "Diddy" Combs was transferred from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to the general population at FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania, where he will continue serving his federal sentence.
Sean "Diddy" Combs, 56, has been placed in the general population at the Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood in Pennsylvania after being transferred from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey last week. The move was confirmed to TMZ on Wednesday, October 21, by Jose Rojas, a union secretary for Bureau of Prisons employees. Allenwood houses roughly 1,000 inmates, compared with Fort Dix's 4,000, which may have influenced the decision.
"If this information is accurate, we're pleased to hear that Sean has returned to general population," said Juda Engelmeyer, a representative for Combs, adding that his safety and well-being remain a priority.
Combs had been placed in solitary confinement at Fort Dix following alleged violations, including multiple write-ups for contraband phone use and physical altercations, according to earlier reporting. He was also taken to a hospital on October 10 for a non-life-threatening head injury, though no reason for the transfer was provided.
The rapper was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and began a 50-month federal sentence, while being acquitted of racketeering and trafficking charges. After losing 41 days of good-time credit, his projected release date has been moved to March 2, 2028.
