Google rolls out Android 17 QPR3 Beta 2 to supported Pixel devices
Google has released the second beta of Android 17 QPR3 for Pixel 6a through Pixel 11, addressing more than 20 bugs and performance issues.
Google made Android 17 QPR3 Beta 2 available today for all currently supported Pixel phones, including the Pixel 6a and the Pixel 11 series. The update introduces at least 20 fixes and improvements over the first beta.
Key issues resolved include device crashes and unexpected reboots, missing Quick Settings tiles, abnormally small system UI elements, Bluetooth pairing timeouts, and high idle battery drain linked to motion sensors after Face Unlock or camera use. Additional fixes address problems such as Wi-Fi Aware connectivity errors, screen-recording freezes after rotation, and various app-specific failures.
"The best way to get this update is through the Android Beta Program," the release notes advise, adding that OTA images are also available for users who prefer manual flashing.
