U.S. Military Conducts Second Strike on Suspected Venezuelan Drug Vessel
President Donald Trump announced a second U.S. military strike targeting a boat allegedly transporting drugs from Venezuela, resulting in three fatalities.
President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. military conducted a second strike on a vessel allegedly transporting drugs from Venezuela, resulting in the deaths of three individuals aboard.
"The Strike occurred while these confirmed narcoterrorists from Venezuela were in International Waters transporting illegal narcotics (A DEADLY WEAPON POISONING AMERICANS!) headed to the U.S.," Trump stated in a Truth Social post.
This operation follows a previous strike nearly two weeks prior, which targeted another boat purportedly carrying drugs from Venezuela, leading to 11 fatalities.
The Trump administration has justified these actions as necessary measures to curb the influx of illegal narcotics into the United States. However, several senators from both parties have expressed concerns regarding the administration's rationale and questioned the legality of these military interventions.
