NFL Week 6 Rankings Highlight Quarterback Performances and Shifting Team Positions

The latest NFL rankings show notable movement in the middle of the top ten after Week 6, with the Chicago Bears rising to fourth after quarterback Caleb Williams returned and completed 24 passes from a clean pocket for 248 yards. The Bears, described as capable of scoring both on the ground and through the air, could break into the top five by season’s end.

The Cleveland Browns, now 4-2, remain fifth despite quarterback Deshaun Watson leading the league in sacks taken (24). Watson’s four game-winning drives this season have drawn praise for his clutch performance.

In Green Bay, the Packers moved into sixth place as quarterback Jordan Love connected with receivers Christian Watson and Matthew Golden for a combined 1,039 receiving yards, while running back Josh Jacobs prepares to return.

The Denver Broncos sit at seventh, with quarterback Bo Nix averaging 5.55 yards per pass attempt, the lowest among qualified quarterbacks. Coach Sean Payton’s offense continues to develop alongside an aggressive defense.

The New England Patriots climbed to eighth after quarterback Drake Maye recorded his third consecutive game with at least three touchdown passes, a feat not achieved by a Patriots quarterback since 2017.

Other notable mentions include the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Travis Hunter, who recorded both a receiving touchdown and an interception in the same game, and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who tied the NFL record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback through six games.

San Francisco 49ers remain at the top of the rankings heading into their Monday night matchup against the Washington Commanders, though injuries to key receivers could affect their outlook.
