Fantasy Football Week 6: Notable Underperformances Across Positions

Resumen

Several NFL players posted lower-than-expected fantasy points in Week 6 of the 2026 season, prompting analysts to assess their outlook for the upcoming week.

Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season featured a mix of close games and strong performances, but a number of players fell short of typical fantasy expectations. Analyst Andersen Pickard highlighted those whose point totals were notably low and examined whether they could regain form in Week 7.

Quarterback Bo Nix recorded 4.5 fantasy points, completing 107 passing yards without a touchdown in the Broncos' overtime win. Pickard noted Nix could improve against a vulnerable Cardinals defense. Jacoby Brissett posted 7.9 points, throwing for 218 yards with one interception; the analyst expects his touchdown production to rebound.

Running backs also saw reduced output. Derrick Henry managed 7.0 points, accumulating 58 rushing yards and a fumble in the Ravens' loss, while Cam Skattebo recorded no touches. Both are projected to return to higher usage levels in upcoming matchups. Bijan Robinson logged 7.3 points with nine carries and negative receiving yards, but is expected to resume his role as a high-end RB1.

Wide receivers and tight ends faced similar challenges. Denzel Boston earned 2.5 points on a single catch, and Michael Wilson contributed 7.2 points after a two-week dip. A.J. Brown, returning from injury, posted 5.7 points on three receptions. Tight ends Mark Andrews and Juwan Johnson each recorded under two points, prompting questions about their weekly value.

Pickard concluded that while the highlighted players experienced a downturn, most have a reasonable chance to rebound based on upcoming opponent matchups and projected snap shares.
