Buffalo held off a late comeback by Las Vegas, winning 33-30 on Sunday night to move to 5-1 and head into the league's bye week.

The Buffalo Bills secured a 33-30 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, improving to 5-1 on the season and earning a bye week. Josh Allen completed 23 of 33 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns, while running back James Cook contributed 95 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

Buffalo’s special teams were flawless, with kicker Tyler Bass converting all four field-goal attempts, including a 47-yard effort. The Bills’ defense forced a key turnover in the second half when safety Dorian Williams intercepted a pass, and the unit recorded 11 passes defended.

Key offensive plays included a 38-yard reception by tight end Dalton Kincaid early in the game and a 34-yard touchdown catch by wide receiver Khalil Shakir. The Raiders tied the game at 23-23 in the fourth quarter, but Buffalo responded with a 7-yard touchdown run by Cook to retake the lead.

"We stayed aggressive on both sides of the ball and trusted our playmakers to make the big plays," said Bills offensive coordinator.

"The defense kept us in the game with timely stops and the turnover," added the team’s defensive coordinator.

The Raiders’ final drive fell short as the Bills’ defense limited them to a field goal, and a subsequent onside-kick attempt was unsuccessful. Buffalo’s win marks its fourth 30-plus point performance of the season, while the defense will look to address the four games in which it has allowed 30 or more points during the upcoming bye week.
