Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Kaia Gerber Speak Out After Presley Gerber's Death

Cindy Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber and their daughter Kaia Gerber released statements on Sunday, marking the first public comments from the family since Presley Gerber died on Sept. 20 at a Santa Monica rehabilitation center. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s website lists the cause of death as pending, while Santa Monica police have described it as a suspected overdose. Presley, 27, had previously discussed his struggles with addiction and mental health on his own social-media accounts.
In a joint Instagram post, Crawford and Gerber expressed their sorrow and thanked supporters, saying they felt “blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years” and praised his “kindness and vulnerability.” Kaia Gerber also posted a personal tribute, recalling childhood memories and describing the ongoing sense of loss.
"I love you the bluest, to the moon and back and back again, forever big brother," Kaia wrote in her caption.
The family’s messages emphasized gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from friends, family and strangers alike.
