Cindy Crawford Honors Late Son Presley Gerber in Instagram Post

Cindy Crawford posted a tribute on Instagram on Oct. 18, marking the first public comment from the supermodel since her son Presley Gerber died on Sept. 20. She said the family is “beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother” and described Presley as “a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever.”

"We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability."

Crawford thanked friends, family and strangers for their “outpouring of love and support” and concluded with a farewell message, “Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia.”

Her daughter, model Kaia Gerger, also posted an Instagram tribute, recalling memories of the siblings and expressing her grief in a personal letter. She shared a throwback video of the siblings together and wrote about learning to love her brother despite his absence.

Presley Gerber, a model and the older child of Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles County. The medical examiner’s report listed the cause of death as pending further investigation, and police indicated the death is being investigated as a suspected overdose. Gerber had previously spoken publicly about his struggles with depression and addiction, including a June panel discussion on mental health where he said, “The most free I felt was when I was finally honest with myself.”
