The Federal Bureau of Prisons moved Sean Combs from a New Jersey facility to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania after a brief hospital stay for a head injury.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed on Friday that rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was transferred from the Fort Dix facility in New Jersey to the low-security Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood in Pennsylvania. The agency said it does not discuss the conditions of confinement or reasons for inmate transfers for privacy, safety and security reasons.

"Decisions about inmate placement are made by the BOP, and we are not in a position to speak to the circumstances surrounding this transfer," a spokesperson for Combs told ABC News.

The spokesperson added that Combs remains focused on moving forward and hopes his time at the new facility will be productive and without unnecessary disruption.

Sources familiar with the situation reported that Combs was briefly hospitalized on Saturday for a head injury and returned to custody early Sunday morning. The Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on the incident, citing safety and security concerns.

"We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances," the representative said, emphasizing that the artist's health and well-being are the immediate concern.

Inmate records list Combs' projected release date as March 2, 2028.
