Milwaukee defeated Los Angeles 6-4 in Game 4, completing a four-game sweep and earning the National League Championship Series victory.

The Milwaukee Brewers completed a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, winning Game 4 by a 6-4 margin at Dodger Stadium and securing the National League Championship Series title. The victory sends Milwaukee to the World Series for the first time in 44 years.

Shohei Ohtani provided the Dodgers’ early spark, hitting a three-run home run in the second inning that gave Los Angeles a 4-1 lead. Manager Dave Roberts praised the swing as Ohtani’s hardest hit in months, noting the emotion it displayed.

The Brewers responded in the fourth inning, loading the bases and narrowing the gap, then tied the game in the fifth on a single by David Hamilton. A sixth-inning solo homer by Garrett Mitchell gave Milwaukee a 5-4 lead, which they extended in the ninth when Hamilton hit another solo shot.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said, > "They may have a bunch of Hall of Famers, but we have a bunch of gamers, and the gamers won this week."

Dodgers left fielder Teoscar Hernández lamented the loss, stating, > "It sucked. Somebody has to win, somebody has to lose. This time, we’re the ones that lost."

First baseman Freddie Freeman added, > "They just outplayed us this series. We had our opportunities, but we didn’t get it done."

Milwaukee’s bullpen, including reliever Evan Phillips and closer Edwin Díaz, held the Dodgers scoreless after the sixth inning, preserving the win.
