Sean "Diddy" Combs' family denies reports of prison fight after head injury

Resumen

Sean "Diddy" Combs' relatives refuted claims that he fought a fellow inmate, saying the cause of his recent head injury at Fort Dix remains unclear.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, 56, was taken to a hospital on Saturday after sustaining a head injury while incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The incident occurred during his stay in the Special Housing Unit, and he was returned to the facility shortly thereafter.

Loren LoRosa, speaking on the "Breakfast Club" radio program, said she had spoken with a member of Combs' family who asserted that there was no fight with Jamaican drug trafficker Christopher "Dudus" Coke, as reported by some media outlets. LoRosa noted that Combs is "guarded" when outside his unit and that the two inmates are on "completely different sides" of the prison.

The family, according to LoRosa, is not certain what caused the injury but maintains that it was not the result of a violent altercation. A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons also confirmed that no fight between Combs and Coke took place.

Combs' representatives have said they cannot independently verify the alleged altercation and emphasized that their primary concern is his health and well-being. The rapper is scheduled for release on March 2, 2028, two months later than his original release date.
