Hilary Swank Announces Pregnancy, Expecting Third Child

Actress Hilary Swank announced on Instagram that she is expecting her third child, due in December. The 52-year-old shared a video in which her family dances with glow sticks, and she appears with a visible baby bump.

Swank and husband Philip Schneider welcomed twins Aya and Ohm in April 2023. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, she said having children later in life allows her to be more present with them and to balance her career and parenting responsibilities.

"It just worked out that I had babies this much later in life," Swank said. "I can really take time to be with them."

She added that her established career gives her flexibility to step in and out of work as needed, which she described as a "blessing."

Swank also discussed her advocacy for California Bill AB 1901, which seeks greater transparency in diaper ingredient labeling, and reflected on the personal growth she has pursued to become a better parent.

"I've done a lot of work on myself… so I didn't have to do a lot of catch up with that," she told PEOPLE.

The actress emphasized that she continues to work on personal development and strives to stay present in daily moments with her children.
