Selma Blair's boyfriend, Andy Kiernan, posted a request for prayers following her disruptive behavior on a Delta flight, while the actress faces assault charges related to the event.
Andy Kiernan, who has been dating actress Selma Blair since 2024, posted on Instagram Stories urging followers to pray for her health and well-being after a disruptive incident on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York. "Pray for Selma," he wrote, adding that she "has a good heart" and "hasn't yet got the help she needs." He also asked for prayers for Blair's 15-year-old son, Arthur.
According to flight crew reports, Blair became physically disruptive during the flight and was restrained by attendants. A pilot requested medical assistance and law-enforcement presence upon landing, noting injuries to crew members. Blair's representative said she experienced a medical emergency that led to the conduct and that she is in stable condition.
Blair entered a not-guilty plea to two counts of second-degree assault on Monday. Her attorney, Shawn Barnes, attributed the incident to missed multiple sclerosis medication and a recent fall that resulted in a head injury, noting she had worked extensive hours on set prior to the trip. If convicted, she faces a potential sentence of two to seven years in prison.
