Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson punches Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb after game
Alaric Jackson was seen punching Bradley Chubb following the Rams' loss to the Bills and may face NFL discipline.
Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson approached Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb after the game ended and threw a right hook to Chubb's jaw, according to reports. The incident occurred while Chubb was speaking with players from both teams near midfield.
Chubb told the California Post that the game was emotional and that tempers had flared, but he did not name Jackson in his interview. He said, "> It’s just emotions, you know what I mean? Emotional game, it was a close game," and added that his teammates held him back after the altercation.
When asked whether he had spoken with Rams defensive end Myles Garrett, Chubb said there were no issues between them. He emphasized that the team would move on, stating, "> Just the whole team. Like I said, it was an emotional game. Tempers flared. But it is what it is. We flushed it and we onto next week."
Chubb confirmed he was fine and focused on the upcoming week, noting, "> I’m just ready for next week. You see me, I’m smiling, I’m with my team. I’ll be ready for next week."
The NFL has not yet announced whether Jackson will be suspended for the next game.
