Texans confirm trade for Marvin Harrison, reuniting him with former Ohio State teammate C.J. Stroud
Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans announced the acquisition of wide receiver Marvin Harrison from the Arizona Cardinals, noting the pair's prior connection at Ohio State.
Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed that the team has completed a trade with the Arizona Cardinals for wide receiver Marvin Harrison. Ryans said the deal was finalized after the Texans' recent win over the Tennessee Titans.
According to an NFL source, Houston sent a second- and sixth-round draft pick to Arizona and received Harrison along with a seventh-round pick in return. The move reunites Harrison with quarterback C.J. Stroud, his former teammate at Ohio State, a pairing that the Texans hope will boost their passing attack.
Ryans told his players after the victory, "> let's go do something special," emphasizing the team's intent to improve its performance before the upcoming trade deadline.
