The Arizona Cardinals have sent third-year receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for 2027 second- and sixth-round selections.

The Arizona Cardinals have completed a trade that sends third-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick to the Houston Texans. In return, the Cardinals will receive the Texans' 2027 second-round and sixth-round picks, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport and ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.

The move follows earlier reports that the Cardinals were close to finalizing a deal to move Harrison. Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed the acquisition after his team defeated the Tennessee Titans 26-3, saying, "Yes, we traded for Marvin Harrison."

Harrison, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 draft, entered the league with high expectations after a successful college career at Ohio State. Over his first two seasons, he recorded 103 receptions for 1,493 yards and 12 touchdowns in 29 games, but his production has declined this season, with five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown in the first four games.

The trade gives Harrison a chance to reunite with former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud, now with the Texans, and join a receiving group that includes Nico Collins and the recently active Tank Dell. The Texans, who started the season 0-4 and are now 1-4, hope the addition will bolster their offense.
