Powerball jackpot reaches $516 million but no winner in Saturday draw
The Saturday, Oct. 10 Powerball drawing produced a $516 million jackpot with no jackpot winner, while a ticket in California won the $1 million second-prize tier.
The Powerball drawing held on Saturday, Oct. 10 generated an estimated $516 million jackpot, with a cash option of $211.6 million. The winning numbers were 1, 4, 19, 33 and 51, with the Powerball 15 and a 2× Power Play multiplier.
No ticket matched all five white balls and the Powerball, so the jackpot rolled over. A ticket sold in California matched the five white balls and secured the $1 million prize for that tier.
The next drawing is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 12 at 10:59 p.m. in Tallahassee, with ticket sales in Michigan closing at 9:45 p.m. on draw nights. Each Powerball play costs $2, and an optional $1 Power Play feature can multiply non-jackpot prizes.
The overall odds of hitting the jackpot remain 1 in 292.2 million.
