Actor Keegan Allen Hospitalized After Armed Robbery in West Hollywood
Keegan Allen received stitches for a forehead wound after being robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint outside a West Hollywood grocery store, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Actor Keegan Allen, 37, posted on Instagram on Saturday showing two sutured cuts on his temple following an armed robbery in West Hollywood. He thanked medical personnel and law-enforcement officials for their assistance.
According to Allen’s video posted on the platform, two masked men approached him in the parking lot of Laurel Supply, threatened him with a gun and a knife, and stole his watch before fleeing. Security footage shared by the actor appears to corroborate his account.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a robbery call at the address shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday. A department spokesperson said the victim reported being approached by two men in black clothing, one brandishing a silver handgun and the other a knife, and that Allen sustained a laceration to his forehead. He was evaluated by the LA County Fire Department but was not taken to a hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, with deputies continuing to seek the suspects. Allen expressed concerns about public safety in the area in his Instagram caption.
