Ciara walks Paris runway three times while pregnant with fifth child

Singer Ciara appeared on the runway of Junya Watanabe's Spring 2027 ready-to-wear show in Paris on Oct. 3, walking the catwalk three times during the presentation. The 40-year-old model showcased a series of outfits built around purple leggings, a cropped top with pink racing stripes, a black belt and red heeled boots, changing outerwear and accessories for each walk.

For her first walk she wore a tan trench coat and a black embellished cap; the second look featured a distressed black leather jacket with hardware and metallic details; the final appearance included a sparkling helmet-like headpiece with crystal strands.

"I’ve always dreamed of walking the runway in Paris. Junya Watanabe having me walk in your show was a Major Dream Come True!"

Ciara said she was initially concerned that her pregnancy might not fit the show’s creative direction, but the designer agreed to include her.

"I was honestly afraid that when I mentioned I was with child, you say it doesn’t fit the vision anymore, but you said YES!!"

The audience responded positively, and her husband, Russell Wilson, expressed support in the comments. The appearance follows the couple’s announcement on Sept. 6 that they are expecting their fifth child. Ciara has continued public performances, including a set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas shortly after the announcement.
