Robert Kelker-Kelly, best known for playing Bo Brady on the NBC soap, died on Oct. 3 in St. Peters, Missouri, after a medical emergency.

Robert Kelker-Kelly, who portrayed Bo Brady on NBC's "Days of Our Lives" and appeared on "Another World," died on Oct. 3 at his home in St. Peters, Missouri, at age 62. Police said officers responded around 8:16 p.m. after a call reported an unconscious man who was not breathing. Kelker-Kelly had complained of chest pain shortly before becoming unresponsive, and officials said the situation was consistent with a medical event. Paramedics and officers attempted life-saving measures but were unable to revive him.

Born in Wichita, Kansas, on April 18, 1964, Kelker-Kelly began his television career in 1987 as Sam Fowler on "Another World," a role he held for three years. He took over the role of Bo Brady on "Days of Our Lives" in 1992, appearing opposite Kristian Alfonso and Lisa Rinna until 1995, when the original actor returned. He later returned to "Another World" as Bobby Reno/Dr. Shane Roberts from 1996 to 1998 and had guest spots on "General Hospital" as Stavros Cassadine between 2002 and 2014. After leaving acting, he worked as a professional pilot from 2003 to 2015.

In a 2026 memoir, Lisa Rinna described a contentious off-screen relationship with Kelker-Kelly, alleging verbal abuse and manipulative behavior. Kelker-Kelly did not comment on the allegations. The report of his death was first published by a celebrity news outlet.
