FBI Director Kash Patel and country singer Alexis Wilkins revealed their engagement on social media, confirming a relationship that began before Patel assumed his role in 2025.
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed his engagement to country singer Alexis Wilkins in a post on X on Sunday evening. Wilkins, 27, shared a black-and-white photo of the couple together, displaying her engagement ring, and wrote, "Went and got the law involved." The pair have been dating since before Patel became head of the FBI in 2025, when Wilkins attended his swearing-in ceremony.
Wilkins released her debut album in 2023 and describes herself as a political commentator who "honors country tradition while adding relevance and current commentary" on her website. Patel reposted Wilkins' announcement.
Patel has previously faced scrutiny over the use of government aircraft for trips that were not directly related to law-enforcement duties, including a flight to State College, Pennsylvania, for a pro-wrestling event where Wilkins performed the national anthem. Photos from the event showed the couple smiling together while Wilkins held a large championship belt.
